Reisastua offers you the opportunity to fish for some of the world’s largest cod and halibut. In the waters around Nordreisa, halibut in the 100 kg class are caught every year, and the world’s largest cod of 50 kg + was also caught in this area

The world’s largest Cod was caught off of Sørøya, a few hours’ boat trip from Nordreisa. There are many good fishing slocations close to Reisa.
Skrei season
The skrei season lasts from January to mid-May. During this period you can catch cod of over 40 kg! An experience of a lifetime for those looking for a monster catch.
Great halibut in North Troms
There is a large and flourishing population of halibut in the area around Reisa. It is possible to catch really BIG halibut, and it is not unusual for halibut over 100 Kg to be caught in our waters. Almost uniquely, in the summer, the halibut enters very shallow water. We have many secret spots where we find these halibut in numbers.
