We recommend some prior knowledge of canoeing. In addition, we go through a necessary safety instruction before renting a canoe. We provide tips and recommendations on which rapids you should avoid and where you should disembark to hire/carry a canoe. If there is high water (max 2.5 metres), we do not rent out canoes. This is for safety reasons as we know that the dangers of paddling on your own in the Reisaelva can be underestimated. We don’t want that.
